Buying at Rose Galleries

Rose Galleries is a unique resource for antiques and collectibles in every price range. When buying at auction, you benefit by avoiding high mark-ups, and you can be assured of obtaining quality goods at fair prices. An inexperienced bidder need not worry about ending up with an unwanted item. Our experienced auctioneers can differentiate between a genuine bid and a casual nod or gesture.

Catalogs        

Catalogs are available on our website and in our show room during inspection hours. These provide lot numbers and descriptions for each item on the auction. The items are sold in number order.

Registration

All bidders are required to register before bidding. Some specialty auctions require registration before inspecting the items. Identification is required for all new clients.

Buyer's Premium

Successful bidders pay a 15% buyer's premium. The 15% premium, along with any applicable sales taxes are added to the final bid price.

Payment Options

You may pay by check, cash, money order, Discover, Visa or Mastercard. All items invoiced should be paid within three (3) days of the sale, but your check may need to clear before we can release your purchases. All sales are Final. Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.

Merchandise Pick-up

All items must be removed by the Saturday following the sale. Please do not bid on items if you cannot make these arrangements. Arrangements can be made with local shipping and packing companies for shipment.
