Terms of Sale
All sales are final. Everything will be sold as/is, where/is.
Buyers must
register before bidding giving proper identification. All merchandise must be removed from the
premises by the purchasers at their expense and risk within the time specified
by the auctioneer. Items can be shipped using local shipping companies. However, it
is the buyers responsibility to make these arrangements. No merchandise may be
removed until paid for.
All
merchandise will be on exhibition. The auction company urges your personal
inspection prior to the auction.
You may pay by check, cash, money order,
Discover, Visa or Mastercard. Unless other arrangements are made in advance,
payments by check will need to clear before we can release your purchases.
Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.
If any dispute arises between two or more bidders the lot in dispute shall,
at the discretion of the auctioneer, either be re-offered for sale or sold as
stated. In any event the auctioneers decision is final. The auctioneer reserves
the right to reject any and all bids.
Instances where the consignor is offering his property subject to a
confidential minimum price an R will appear after the lot number. In such
instances the auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor. Absentee bids left
with us are used competitively, buying at the lowest possible price as permitted
by other bids.
Successful bidders pay a 15% buyer's premium. The 15% premium, along with any
applicable sales taxes are added to the final bid price.
Estimates provided represent a range which, in the opinion of the auction
company, represents a fair and probable auction value. Actual prices can
fall below or above this range.
Employees of the auction company are not prohibited from bidding on
property. In the course of their employment it is possible they may have
access to information not available to the public.
